Empreinte is an original creation by the Jumping International de Bordeaux, presented on 4 February 2027. An immersive performance where equestrian arts, music, singing, painting and movement come together to create a powerful sensory experience exploring the traces human beings leave behind.
A Living, Ever-Evolving Artistic Concept
Empreinte explores the idea of the mark or imprint: those we leave on the earth, in emotions, in memory and through works of art.
More than a story, the performance offers a sensory journey where each artistic discipline interacts with the others in a constantly evolving universe.
Directed by Sébastien Capelli, this original creation brings together 15 artists and 30 horses in a living fresco combining strength, poetry and freedom.
Every performance unfolds live, creating an organic, fluid and instinctive narrative where movement becomes a language of its own.

At the heart of Empreinte, Lorenzo brings a unique stage presence, blending musical intensity with powerful artistic expression.
Renowned for his distinctive creative universe and his ability to transcend artistic boundaries, he joins this collective production where music interacts with horses, movement and visual arts. His presence helps shape an emotional narrative filled with tension, freedom and raw emotion.
Guillaume Mauvais & Mélie Philippot
Movement Brought to Life
In Empreinte, Guillaume Mauvais brings exceptional physicality and technical mastery to the performance. Through his work with horses and movement, he embodies precision, control and the intensity of the bond between human and horse. His contribution creates a choreographic language in which equestrian movement becomes a true form of stage expression.
Mélie Philippot develops a sensitive and expressive approach to movement. She explores a subtle relationship with horses, built on trust and attentive communication, creating a truly living choreography. Together, these two artists enrich the choreographic dimension of the performance, placing both the human body and the horse at the heart of the narrative.
JAVA Choir – Young Voices in Motion
The performance also features the Jeune Académie Vocale d'Aquitaine (JAVA Choir), a committed vocal ensemble embodying the strength of collective singing.
Through their energy and precision, the young singers bring an essential musical depth to the production. Their voices become a living artistic material, interacting with horses, performers and musicians in an immersive and ever-evolving musical composition.
Liska Llorca – Painting in Action
In Empreinte, painting is not simply a backdrop—it is created live. Artist Liska Llorca transforms the stage into a living studio, where every brushstroke responds to the movement of horses and music.
Her artworks come to life before the audience's eyes, capturing the moment, the energy and the emotion of the performance. The canvas becomes a living memory of the show—a tangible imprint of what exists only in the present moment.
