• International Dressage Competition - CDI****

International dressage is coming to Bordeaux!

In 2026, the Jumping International de Bordeaux takes a new step forward: it will host, for the very first time, an international dressage competition.

Thanks to this addition, the program will now feature all three Olympic equestrian disciplines, offering a unique sporting and emotional experience.

    The CDI4*

    An exceptional lineup

This event, ranked CDI4*, is one of the most prestigious on the circuit. It will bring together 12 top international dressage riders and horses, carefully selected.

Their presence guarantees the audience performances of the highest technical level, evaluated by an international panel of judges.

    Highlights of the program

    Thursday morning: the Grand Prix

Riders and horses will take to the arena for the compulsory test. Spectators will witness the extreme precision of dressage’s most emblematic movements: piaffe, passage, pirouettes, and one-tempi changes.

Every detail matters: the regularity of the gaits, the lightness of the aids, the precision of the transitions. It is the rigor and harmony of horse and rider working together that come to life in the arena.

    Friday afternoon: the CDI4 Freestyle*

Time for the freestyle to music! Each rider presents their own choreography, set to music of their choice. This test combines technical performance with artistry: beyond precision, the riders deliver a true interpretation where the music enhances the horse’s movements. The audience experiences a suspended moment where power and emotion come together.

A new experience for the Bordeaux audience

Spectators will have the rare opportunity to admire world-class rider-horse pairs, to witness moments of pure grace where sport turns into spectacle, and to feel the intensity of a discipline where every movement reflects years of dedication and partnership.
