    The event  

    • The derby takes place on the international track (35 x 79 m). It is made up of around 5 fixed obstacles and 5 mobile obstacles. 
    • The obstacles include fences, half-rounds, a keyhole jump, a bank and a few show jumping obstacles. Max. height of the fixed section: 60 cm. 
    • Derby Cross Club 3 event, open exclusively to B ponies and children aged under 14. 
    • “Barème A” time trial. 
    • Distance: between 400 m and 600 m. 

    • 12 riders 

      Requirements: 

      • Up-to-date 2025 FFE competition licence 
      • Cross-country clothing compulsory (helmet, cross-country protective vest, bib, medical form). 
      • Qualification at the Lège Cap Ferret qualifying event(see qualifying conditions).
      • Maximum age in the 2025 year: 14. 

    • Requirements: 

      • Category B pony aged 4 or over (declared B on the FFE website), fully registered, OC (parentage known) or ONC (grade horse). 
      • One pony per rider. 
      • Pony identification booklet required (vaccinations up to date). 
      • Where possible, ponies must be shorn on the day of the event.

    Conditions of qualification and employment

    • The 12 best couples in the Derby Cross Club 3 qualifying event at Lège Cap Ferret* (December 2024) qualified for the Derby Poneys by Devoucoux event at the Jumping International de Bordeaux.

      Couples wishing to take part in the Jumping must register with m.aldebert@beam.fr before December 8, 2024 (rider name, horse name, license number and SIRE number of the pony).

      *Entryto the Lège Cap Ferret qualifying event: each rider enters directly into the Derby Cross Club 3 event via FFE SIF.

    • Entries will be made automatically by Jumping International de Bordeaux according to the result of the qualifying event(taking into account riders wishing or not to take part in the Jumping).

      Please ensure that :

      1. riders have their LFC 2025 up to date
      2. pony owners have their LFC 2025 up to date
      3. payment is sent to Jumping International de Bordeaux - Rue Jean Samazeuilh CS20088 - 33070 Bordeaux before December 31st.
