    Four-in-Hand Driving Final

    The World’s Best Driving Competitors

The FEI Driving World Cup™ Final was launched in 2001—and Bordeaux was already part of the adventure! The FEI Four-in-Hand Driving World Cup takes place exclusively in Europe, across 8 qualifying stages open only to the world’s top 10 drivers. This competition is sponsored by LAITERIE DE MONTAIGU.

These drivers select their competitions in groups of five. It’s important to note that a driver can only compete in four stages, and only their top three results are counted.

Drivers earn points at each event, and the top six in the overall standings qualify for the final at the Jumping International de Bordeaux

Driving Final: World-Class Excellence in a unique Bordeaux atmosphere

Once again this year, Jumping International de Bordeaux hosted the final of the FEI Driving World Cup™. This beautiful discipline, still too little known, is very popular in Bordeaux.

Driving is one of the most fascinating disciplines of equestrian sport, and certainly one of the most spectacular. The world’s best drivers have made the trip to Parc des Expositions of Bordeaux an annual pilgrimage, and never fail to put on a show! It takes an incredible amount of skill to drive four horses galloping at full pace, around a course littered with various obstacles.

These world's best driver sincerely appreciate the atmosphere in the arena of the Jumping International de Bordeaux, considered one of the finest locations in the world for competitive driving, and there is always competition for places even when Bordeaux is simply one of the qualifying events.
