A space designed for young budding riders
From February 5 to 8, 2026, the Horse Show of the Jumping International of Bordeaux invites families to enjoy a festive, friendly event that will delight all young horse lovers: the Pony Club. Located at the heart of the show, this space dedicated to children aged 4 to 12 offers a fun, safe and engaging first introduction to horse riding, supervised by qualified instructors who are passionate about sharing the fundamentals of horsemanship and riding.
On the program: games, beginner workshops covering the three basics (move forward, stop, turn), slalom courses, hoop activities and even an introduction to equestrian team sports such as horseball. Young beginner riders are warmly welcomed for a wonderful discovery experience in a friendly, joyful atmosphere.

Introducing a child to horse riding means offering much more than just an activity: it’s about awakening their curiosity, building their self-confidence and nurturing a special bond with an extraordinary animal.
In the welcoming setting of the Pony Club at the Horse Show, children enjoy a structured, educational approach, where every movement is patiently explained by passionate professionals. They can take their very first steps on horseback in complete safety, in a joyful atmosphere where learning goes hand in hand with fun.

Pony Club opening hours
- Thursday: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Friday: 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Saturday: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- Sunday: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
