When is the next event?
From Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th, February 2020.
Where does the competition take place?
In the Exhibition centre of Bordeaux. The competition will take place in the Hall 3, as the previous editions.
Is there a special connection by public transport?
By tramway: Line C of the tramway: from St Jean train station and the Place des Quinconces, to Parc des Expositions.
By cab: Available in front of the Parc des Expositions (Gate C).
Is there a parking lot?
Yes, there is a car park within the site, it is free of charge for visitors and is not guarded.
What are specific equipments for disabled persons?
Parking spaces "PMR" near the entrance of the public (access by the gate 'H'), a reception desk at reduced height, places reserved in accessible stand by a banister, restoring, bars service with terrace, adapted toilets.
Can we go out and get back during the show session?
Yes, a countermark will be given on check out the bleachers. In your return, it will be necessary to you to put back the countermark and to show the heel of the ticket which you have to keep on you.
Are dogs accepted?
Dogs are not allowed in the tribunes. In other areas open to the public, dogs must be kept on a lead and muzzled.
Is there a cloakroom / a deposit?
No, there is no locker room or setpoint.
Where can I find accommodation?
A hotel portfolio comprising all categories from 1 * to 4 * next to the Exhibition centre.
When and how can I book my ticket?
We invite you to visit the section Price rates. We recommend you to make your reservation by internet on the online booking.
Is there a reduced price?
A preferential rate is given to licensed rider. A group rate is available for more than 10 tickets booked at the same session. Works councils, associations..
From what age do the children pay?
As long as the child is young enough (maximum 4 years) to attend on the knees of a parent, it is not required to book a ticket.
Who are the riders who participate?
The Jumping of Bordeaux gathers every year the elite of the world riders. It is still a certainty for next event. The list is available under the section Competition / Engaged from the middle of January according to the definite entries.
Nevertheless, last minute changes can modify this list up to the opening of the competition.
Where can we see horses without paying?
You can attend for free the show of the best horses of the world in the warm-up arena. This ring is located in the core of "Salon du cheval de Bordeaux". The entrance to the Exhibitors Village is free.
If I just want to visit the Exhibitor Village, what should I do?
The access to the Exhibitor Village is totally free. The opening hours are from 10:00 am to 30mn after the end of the tests (that is around midnight) Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 am till 6:00 pm on Sunday. No ticket nor reservation are necessary. You can also approach freely the warm-up ring.
Where can we take a snack?
You will find a restaurant, a bar-service and a wine bar within the Exhibitor village. There is also a panoramic restaurant overlooking the ring if you want to attend the competition while having lunch/dinner. On reservation only.
Can I take a picture or a video of the tests?
Cameras and video cameras are authorized. However, the use of flash is totally prohibited since it can hamper the riders and their horses. Only the accredited professional photographers can use specific flashes.
From what hour may I get to the Jumping?
The Exhibitor Village is accessible freely from 9:00 am to 30mn after the end of the tests. Approximately midnight Friday and Saturday. 5:00 pm on Sunday.
The stands are available (provided with your ticket) 30 mn before the beginning of the session.
What can we see in the Salon du Cheval, the exhibition ?
Open to all, it includes the suppliers, service providers and riding enthusiasts. It proposes advice and materials relating to the universe of the horse and his disciplines, technical equipments, equipment of the rider and offers to practice the disciplines
